Lexus’ Statement Regarding Consumer Reports’ Testing of the 2010 GX 460

"For more than 20 years, Lexus has made customer safety and satisfaction our highest priorities. We are taking the situation with the GX 460 very seriously and are determined to identify and correct the issue Consumer Reports identified. At this time we have asked our dealers to temporarily suspend sales of the 2010 GX 460.
Lexus’ extensive vehicle testing provides a good indication of how our vehicles perform and we are confident that the GX meets our high safety standards. Our engineering teams are vigorously testing the GX using Consumer Reports’ specific parameters to identify how we can make the GX’s performance even better.
For any customer who has purchased a 2010 GX 460 and is concerned about driving their vehicle, we will provide a loaner car until a remedy is available.

2010 Lexus GX460, Lexus Cars
2010 Lexus LS 600h L revisions are fairly minimal, restricted primarily to new bumpers and lights front and rear, turning indicators integrated into the mirror housings and, of course, new wheels. There’ve been some modifications made to the interior as well, while the hybrid system on the top-of-the-line model shown has been optimized. The hybrid model has also been subtly visually distinguished from the conventional LS 460.

New Lexus IS250 Sports Concept Car Pictures
As well as introducing the revised 2009 IS line-up and the New Lexus IS250 Sports Concept Cars, Lexus also previewed a sports-inspired IS 250 at the 2008 Australian International Motor Show that could enter production shortly. Based on the New Lexus IS250 Sports Concept Cars, the Sports Concept features a number of mechanical and visual enhancements including brakes, shock absorbers, sway bars, chassis braces, air intake, clutch, short shift kit, exhaust, 19-inch wheels, engine cover and spoilers.

New 2009 Lexus IS250C Car Pictures
Lexus has chopped off two doors and the roof from the IS250 to create the New 2009 Lexus IS250C Car, due to arrive in Europe in the summer of 2009, and the U.S. shortly thereafter.The New 2009 Lexus IS250C Car features a three-piece aluminum roof that retracts in a "world’s fastest" 20 seconds, and features revised overhangs 15mm (front) and 55mm (rear) longer than the sedan, a new fog lamp design and a rising beltline that integrates into the revised haunches.
